We are a family run delicatessen, situated in the heart of Nottingham city centre. The shop was founded nearly two decades ago and specialises in selling cheese. We have developed our range throughout the years and now stock over 200 British cheeses from a wide variety of milks including: Cows, Sheep, Goats and Buffalo. Being situated in Nottinghamshire gives us a fantastic opportunity to stock some of the finest blue stilton (the king of cheese) which is sourced locally from Colston Bassett Dairy, and Cropwell Bishop Creameries.
We also stock a wide range of continental cheese from all over Europe.
We have built up a fantastic customer base and many see our shop as an aladdins cave with quality being our number one priority. With in excess of over 100 suppliers this has truly created a foodie paradise.
Our experience comes from a variety of different catering backgrounds which includes working as a chef in London, and locally in restaurants and pubs. The other half of the partnership comes from a farming background with a good knowledge of modern day farming practice.
One of our highest accolades was to be included in Rick Steins food heroes in the early 2000's, which came as quite a surprise. Rob was fortunate enough to be invited to be a judge at the world cheese awards in Dublin in 2008 and again in 2010 in Birmingham. Which has enabled us to keep our standards consistent and high after picking up some great tips from Cheesemakers and experts from around the world.
We work hard to maintain our standards and look after our products. It is our aim to endeavour to carry on doing so in the future, and to carry on building up our knowledge and expertise to ensure quality.
